"Haircuts may only be done by an ADULT with previous haircutting EXPERIENCE"
I took Cosmetology in High School when I was 16-18, so I technically was a child, so maybe this rule could be "Haircuts may be done only by a PERSON with previous haircutting experience"?
with the "must be kept away from sinks, stoves, etc." what if they are under strict supervision- like one night when I was making sculpy cookies, I had Lissie near the stove to "put on" how many minutes the sculpy needed to bake, but the stove was actually off. And I also shoed her washing her hands, but only her hands got wet (intentional) and it wasn't much water coming out- just a little. Are those types of things ok?
Also with the ledges thing, people could hold the doll and take a pic that way to show the scene, so the doll is in the foreground- that way they stay safe. or the only way they could go near a ledge is if there is more than one person with them and they are being held in the pic where they are posing?
This is great!! I like them, makes a lot of sense. I'm glad you got your Marisol back BTW....
If taking a doll on vacation/sleepover/whatever, they must have their own bag packed with weather/activity appropriate clothing, hair brush and accesories, toothbrush(yes my dolls have toothbrushes!), pets(optional)(but you wouldn't put the pets in the bag!), ect.

P.S. I agree with all of these laws!!!

I have added something about dolls being left in their boxes which follows similar morals of coming down from shelves so they are loved and not just investments. (Remember Toy Story 2?)

It makes some of my more collector-minded friends roll their eyes, but I even take my Collector Barbies out of the boxes and give them names! They don't get redressed or have their hair done, and they usually are just for display, but they have a name so they are part of the dolly family in our house!

I used to live in Bellflower before I moved to Corona in 1988. That was close to Downey. I know exactly where you are though.Quote:

Don't "cha" just love that congested 91 freeway! HA!Wait!..you are closer to the 605, huh?...either way...traaaaafic!!!!....So!, when are you going to be at AGPLA. again?

I think we live within a few blocks of some freeway with a 5 in it.
I have no idea when I'll get out to AGPLA. My hopes to get a job there are on the back burner for now until I can learn how to drive and get my license, since the family thinks I'll get eaten alive if I try to use public transportation to get there. I want to see if my dad will let me ride into the city with him sometime when he goes to work, because then it's just a straight shot several hundred blocks up Wilshire, lol. I want to check out the tar pits and the museums and AGPLA is close enough to warrant a visit there, too. But I should probably find a job close to here first so that I can have something to spend when I'm there. So, probably not until later in June, although I'll definitely let you know beforehand because I'd love to meet you there. Plus, I'll bet you know your way all around the store by now!
(I'm beginning to think that my brother blocked the wrong website from me. I still have some schoolwork to get done and he blocked websites that he viewed as "distractions." Yeah, Yahoo which is my e-mail site, so now I can't get any messages from my professors, and AIM which is where I go to discuss my writing with friends when I get stuck and need help or to ask for opinions on final drafts. And yet Hostboard and AG are still accessible!)
